How are the rear directional light bulbs replaced on a 1990 Grand Villa Unihome?
Do you access them from the interior side of the radiator compartment or does the lens panel remove from exterior?
I would think they are accessible from the outside..removing the mounting screws.
Not from the outside. You have to remove the plastic cover on the backside of the light and then the whole pc board assembly comes out from the back.
See if the thread linked below sheds any light on this light question. ;D
GV Tail Lights, How To Guide (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=26984)
Twigs right. Got to go from the inside and it's a pain. Hope you have skinny hands and arms. Do yourself a favor. As long as you are doing this upgrade to LED's. I changed all my running lights out this way. Brake, Turn , Tail rear , center, and front. Call he folks at superbrightleds for help 866-590-3533. 675 lumens for rear. Remember red LED's for brake and tail, amber for turn. Do not get plain white! It makes a huge difference. My lights at least 3 times brighter than stock. You will need a new flasher unit. They can guide you thru this.$150 or so for everything, you won't regret it.
And just a caveat - those Isuzu Impulse tail light assemblies are unobtainium (except from a junkyard/pick and pull), so be careful not to damage them.
Thanks for all the advise on replacing rear directional bulbs. After reading the above posts I about had a heart attack on this matter. So I decided to go up to our storage and give it a look. The lens removal was so easy to remove and reinstall it took only minutes to replace the bulb all is done very professionally. Just pull the bulb out from behind. I am so glad I didn't do it the hard way.
