Title: Oil from bottom of wet tank air line connection
Post by: Ed W on September 30, 2021, 10:44:05 pm
When I was crawling around under the back of the motorhome today (working on some bulkhead repair) I noticed the bottom of the wet tank had about a 6" circle of wet appearance where the bleed line for the tank connects. I felt it and it was oily. I had just bled some air out of the wet tank valve the day before and did not have water or oil in it.

I will investigate more in the morning, but wondering if anyone knows this to indicate another problem.

Thank you, Ed

Oil getting past piston on the air compressor.

If you did not get any water or oil out of the bleed valve the day before, I personally would not worry about it.  But that's only my opinion.  I would clean it off with some degreaser and then keep an eye on that spot to see if it ever comes back.
