Title: Water hose reel and power cord project.
Post by: Bob & Sue on October 01, 2021, 05:08:06 pm
Well I finally finished my water reel and power cord reel installation.    I didn't want 8 new holes in my floor or any kind of a water leak to drip directly onto the floor so I decided to elevate.    And do it with a sealed floor pan.
Just wired it all into the light circuit figuring I would rarely be using the bay lights at the same time I was bugging out.

No more fighting that 50amp power cord to coil it up....  Especially when it's cold.

Does our water hose on our reel feed your gravity fill via the filter?

Yes.  The hose from the filter to the direct fill is long enough to reach the Original coach fill.  Incase I wanted to run off city water and filter it.    I usually run off tank water though.

Nice job, Bob.  I have a small plastic bucket in which I leave the end of the fill hose in when it is wound up.  There is always water in that hose up to the check valve and if the plug end isn't tight it can leak.  Great idea to put the reels in a catch basin.
