So I need help once again with something that I thought would be simple.... What's the secret of replacing these wiper blades? Replace the whole blade assembly or slide the rubber out and just replace that? I removed the blade assembly and drove to a few places including Camping World , where I had to explain that Foretravel WAS a brand, and the 32" blades they sell will not fit either due to mounting hole size or the width of the assembly backbone, or just the way it mounts period. I can't figure out how to get the rubber/metal blade to slide out so maybe I could just replace that if that's even possible.... I looked on line and it is hard to tell if the ones I see will work or not... I know it must be easier than I'm making this... does anyone have a replacement brand and part number or something... help me with this please... in feel so inadequate...🤣
I would give Foretravel or MOT a call and I am sure that they can help you out!
My blade is smaller than yours but I get mine from Costco which are
the Michelin brand which is the best wiper blades I have ever used.
The blade I use I need to drill the hole larger to fit.
You can order them here: Imperial Supplies LLC | Heavy Duty Truck Parts | Fleet Maintenance (https://www.imperialsupplies.com/) cheaper than FOT
Not trying to hijack but my 06 driver side wiper is off by about 6 inches. I need to get it closer to the center of the windshield. Ive read a couple of threads about removing the arm off of the splines and moving it to where you want but that was on older units with the arms facing up. Is it the same principal as mine with the arms and motor at the top of the windshield facing down?
I can't say for sure but probably. If you could post a picture of it it would be easier
to tell for sure.
If it's not keyed so it can only go in one place you can move the arm a spline or two and relocate where it lands on the windshield. If it is keyed then usually and adjustment in linkage somewhere that has slipped.
