After arriving home from a 3500 mile road trip and going through the steps of leveling, putting the slides out then checking the oil level in the transmission by using the up/down arrows, I got this reading—- OL-95 which translates to oil sensor failure. In the code information it says to contact your nearest Allison service agent. I tried Allison's web page for information on that and got nowhere at all unless I bought a years subscription on their HUB that would allow me to search for things.
My question is, is this a DYI thing or will I need to have Allison work on it? TIA!
My sensor isn't reading also. I talked to Allison tech and he asked does the dipstick
work and as it works fine he said I would be fine and it is a big job to change the
sensor. He also said it could be the sensor or the wiring.
I was under the coach looking at a wire that had come off something. It seems the transmission temp sensor wire came off as I never had a reading on that gauge. I reattached it. Put a little glob of silicone on it to keep it in place- and now the gauge works.
Of course, the vms system I bought from Roger tells all, too
