Title: Windscreen problem on my 1990 foretravel grand villa
Post by: kevo0000 on October 21, 2021, 08:58:24 am
Hya all, anyone help me with this problem, about 2 weeks ago I noticed that the outer edge of my windscreen has fogged up around the edges, I've tried cleaning outside and inside with all the best stuff, and still can't get rid of it, I've come to the  conclusion that it's actually spreading from within the glass itself, is it moisture a. chemical reaction of some sort, im totally confused to what is causing this, I've gone round the outside with a bead of sealent all round thinking air may be getting in, but over the last couple of days it seems to be creeping in further around the glass, is there anything I can do to stop it spreading further, as it is at the moment, it's not enough to fail my mot test, and I have thought about spraying a dark tint all round the edges, I'm not sure what to do, any suggestions?

It's normal for aged glass. Most older FT's with older glass are like this. Didn't you already post this? I may be mistaken but I though I posted on another thread...
