So I'm having problems with the zone 2 circulation pump; it will operate intermittently, and I want to have it replaced before the winter sets in here in Missouri. The blower motor is noisy, so I thought I would have it replaced also. Working with an authorized AH service place. AH's price from AH for the March Pump 809-BR 12 volt is quoted $1500 and change. Found numerous ones on line for much lower prices, even on Amazon. Their price was higher than the one I found for $288.00. new, exact same pump. Go figure.

Check with Rudy on these circulating pumps and Heat Exchangers.
Make sure that the clear cube relays are seated properly, I think that's what controls the pumps. It would be much cheaper to replace those first if you think that could be your problem.
Mike, Most blower motor, burner motor noise is from the plastic clutches connecting the motor to the blower shaft which also drives the fuel pump. Remove the black plastic cover from the burner and check the clutches. If cracked or broken stud, replace. And the clutches slide onto the shafts. With motor reattached, push the clutches one way or the other to push them together.
The number two pump is turned on by the middle clear relay. Remove the relay and replace it with either of the other two relays. If problem goes away, get a new relay.
As you have found, replacement pumps are available online, just a lot of work to replace.
All the best
Good suggestion, had that happen to me. If one of those pops up pump no pumpy. The little metal wires that secure them in place are easily bumped off.
Been down this road before. It's the pump. When it is not delivering fluid to the exchangers (blowing cold air), I can 'tweak' the pump and it starts operating again.

Rudy has all the parts you need at a reasonable price with all the phone tech service you need included
If you have room. Try putting a Zip tie around the cubes to hold them in place.
