Title: Can’t find it!
Post by: rbark on October 24, 2021, 05:40:29 pm
I know someone posted on a repair they did to the window washer adapter that goes through the front of the coach but, I CANT FIND THE POST!  I really don't want to have to remove the top of the dash just to replace that part.
I've tried the search bar to no avail.

Scott posted a repair on the broken part of the nozzle. I can't fine it either. He used a 1/8" drill bit and a brass insert.

I DID NOT!!!! :))  :)) (DID NOT use a brass insert)
I used the body-minus the flange of a 1/8" diameter x 1/2" long aluminum pop rivet. Then sanded down about 3/32 from one side of the O.D of the end that was going to go into the plastic body. Just to make sure washer fluid had an unobstructed path.
Drilled the hole no deeper than the existing hole.

We posted this, but I couldn't find it.
We did remove the top of the dash and it wasn't that bad... gotta have 2 people though!

I did but also can't find. Drilled out to a 1/8 and cut a brass tube to press in. Worked well.
