Title: Swapping out the Queen size bed for a king in a 95 Grandvilla
Post by: sfbmwwife on November 17, 2021, 10:58:39 am
I would love to change our Queen bed into a King and am willing to give up extra space for it.  Has anyone attempted this type of renovation?  There has to be a way to build a platform that can be lifted up for the engine compartment like the queen bed is right now.
I am thinking that in the extra space underneath it could be possible to set up a sleepnumber controller as there already is an electrical plug...any thoughts ?  In addition it could be just an extra piece of mattress special cut with two supports underneath to save the cabinetry.

Hans we looked at doing the same thing, but looking at the size of a king Eileen didn't want to cut the bed making space down so we went with just a super queen sleep number and put the control box in the compartment under the bed and it works great.

Andy, Sleep Number does not show a over size queen anywhere!  We also would like to have a king or at least something larger than the queen that is in there now!  Please put in a link!
