I needed propane so I fired up the coach for a short trip to my supplier. Air pressure wouldn't build up and that has never happened before. I opened the main storage bay and found a gift of walnuts in every nook of the bay. Found 6 airlines and 1 electrical cable chewed thru (so far). Not only chewed thru but sections of the airline removed by the little visitor. My question is how do you determine the correct hoses to slice together ?
You'll need to use your air system schematic to ID the damaged lines. At both ends of every major air line there should be a white paper label with a ID number/letter. By matching the ID labels to the air system schematic you can figure out which air lines traverse the length of the coach and pass through the center bay.
Remove the connector on one end of one of the lines and blow air into it using a portable compressor. In the main storage bay, determine which chewed end is blowing air. Put a label on it. Go to the other end of that same line, remove the connector, and blow air into that hose end. Again, in the main bay, find the chewed end that is blowing air. Splice those two chewed ends together. One line repaired.
Repeat as necessary until all chewed lines are reconnected.
IMPORTANT: Figure out how/where the little rodents gained entry, and seal the openings as required. I use (non-rusting) copper mesh to stuff into small openings - expanded metal to cover big holes.

Thanx, but I'll pass...I'm allergic to snow. We haven't even had our first hard freeze in Midland yet. Hit 32 a few mornings the past couple weeks so getting real close.
