is there a problem with installing the very front airbags with the
air fitting facing aft? the air lines will have a little more exposure,
but no more than the other two front bags, and a bolt hole will
have to be enlarged.
anyway I guess it is a mute point because I installed 8 koni gold
shocks and did install the front air bags with the air fitting facing
aft.
I guess we will see if the shocks make a difference when we
go through the whoop dee doos on 95 heading from yuma to the
lemon rally around jan. 20.
Facing aft road debris can take it out.
And or front tire blow out.

If this is true, why did Foretravel install the front air hose for the REAR AIR BAGS where they are exposed to road material/water from two tires (only one tire on the front)?
Note that there are front and rear AIR HOSES for both the FRONT AIR BAGS and the REAR AIR BAGS.
The question which I have wondered since I replaced all eight airbags is: why did Foretravel install EXPOSED rear air hoses for the FRONT AIR BAGS, and EXPOSED front air hoses for the REAR AIR BAGS?
Why not install all air hoses exposed to facilitate replacing the air bags?
I ask the same question about Richard's reply regarding tire blow outs.
When you are a limited production manufacturer, there are going to be a lot of why questions.

everything under the coach is at risk of road debris, and a
an air line might be the least of my worries with a front
tire blowout. I did think of these things. I have put split loom
over exposed lines. thanks for your thoughts
IMO and I do say IMO it is to provide more protection from a front tire failure. During failure the coach is dropping and adding to it with a failed line could make it worse. In the rear we have duals so no sudden drop and less of a multiplier being so far aft. But I also think also a protective plate could of armored it also, just IMO. 100lbs tire carcass whipping the crap out of everything will do some major damage during separation event
