Last night the generator quit so I came home. I had bought a new voltage regulator
last January but in going to change it I found a broken wire so I fixed it and it has been
running ever since. In starting to change it and found another broken wire and I'm
sure it would have kept running. I remember Cranemans post so after looking at it for
quite awhile I phoned Jeff and he walked me through it. After I had finished doing what
he told me he said to call him before I started it up. Then he told me to tell him what I
had done. After he was sure I had everything right he had me start it up. It was charging
at 123 volts and he said just leave it. As Craneman had said call Jeff when changing the
regulator and I say the same thing as it would be easy the burn out the generator. Thanks
for your post Craneman
