Went to grease the u-joints,found one grease fitting on each one broken off flush,a few hours,a few easy outs, and a few trips
from under the coach later got new fittings in and greased,FYI,mine are 6mm.
Socket size or thread size? I have never seen metric grease fittings on U-joints new to me.
Seems odd they would get damaged. Fairly well protected. They get lubed by someone else last time? Generally grease zerks fail from getting struck or sideloaded with hose removal. We use push in zeros and they are always getting broken. No threads. Pain.

Was new to me too,6mm thread size, had the parts store match the old fitting thread, bought some new fittings of mm and inches
for spares, the 6mm fit perfect, also got the grease fitting tool, has a thread chaser, easyout and a socket on one tool, good to have but will not fit on the u-loint,can show it to you at "Q".
Did you take the u joints out and do the work on a bench or were you laying on your back? I greased mine today from a creeper on a concrete floor and I would rather chop a field of cotton than lube a truck or coach but it's the only way to know it's right.
Actually laughed out loud.
Laid on my side on an old rug, lived in South TX for 40 years, had machines for the cotton.
