In Puerto Penasco and had Munoz price replacing all my awning fabric and the fabric key with sunbrella fabric. He said it would take 20yds and would do it for $1800. Anyone had this done lately. Is that a good price. Internet is sketchy or would have researched it myself. TIA
Just to clarify your question and help others answer - how many awnings total and what size are each of your awnings?
So all slides on a 2000 U320. 20ft zip Dee primary, 4 individual 3 ft small awnings and awning over slide that is 14ft. Standard awning sizes.
46" wide, 28.95 per yard. Pattern runs up the roll. Just a little under $600 for the fabric alone. Do you really want to learn how to make awnings?
Sunbrella® Awning Stripe 4771-0000 Beaufort Peacock 46" Fabric (https://www.sailrite.com/Sunbrella-Awning-Stripe-4771-0000-Beaufort-Peacock-46-Fabric)
$1800 sounds cheap! Go for it. That much $$ does not get much here. At $140/hr, you would get a huge bill at a normal shop.

With time to check prices I like to get estimates. I want to know what kind of deal I get, not just "it seems" like I got a good price. Call places here in the states to get at least a ball park number. We don't expect anything for cheap but with the currency exchange I do expect a considerably lower price and I think a mistake to assume such. JMO
Recommendations on where to replace awning fabric (and cost?) (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=42015.msg420099#msg420099)
That's a good price, I'd go for... Two years ago we had our auto-awn replaced with the manual Zip Dee awning, plus all the fabric replaced on all the other Awnings. Not an apples to apple comparison, however...
We had the Auto-awn work done down the street from Zip Dee at the dealer that they recommended. The dealer wanted to have Zip Dee provide all NEW Awnings with the roller assembly. The price was huge... They said their labor to install the fabric would be more than simply installing the whole new roller, aluminum clam assembly. Like Pierce said, it's the skilled labor rate that gets us here...
We elected to purchase simply the fabric, one aluminum clam section for each awning and enough fabric key to do both sides. Redtractor, (Ron) and I installed them all in a couple hours when we got back to Florida.
So, $1,800 for the fabric, sewing, assembly, and installation, (uncrimping and recrimping the clam shell sounds good! Make sure they use a good premium UV resistant thread for the stitching.

Thanks everyone, didn't have good service for research. It's a go!
Just an update on awnings. Munoz is doing all my exterior awnings and flex keys with sunbrella fabric and uv thread, refoaming both captains chairs(for free since he was supposed to do 2yrs ago when he recovered all my furniture) replacing the bed skirt with different fabric, and adding blackout to my current bedroom shades for 2k and a bottle of bourbon! Saw on the FBook page today that MOT did someone slide awning for $1500.
