Title: Clicking noise when shutting some of the cabinet doors (not the overhead ones)
Post by: 18360 on February 01, 2022, 11:29:53 am
Some of the hinges on our cabinet doors are clicking when we close them.  It's kind of annoying.  Some click some do not.  Even on the same door. It's usually on the top hinge.  See attached photo.
Do they need replaced.  I tried WD-40 but that didn't work.  It seems as though there is a black plastic piece that is involved.
    Thanks

Noise is possibly related to this recent thread:

Mystery pieces/parts (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=43968)

I thought I was the only one that experienced that strange sound. All my plastic pieces are intact. On my long to do list is to replace the hinges as the noise IS annoying. Thankfully it only involves one cabinet., the multi drawer cabinet door opposite the fridge
