Title: Portable generator
Post by: dans96u295ft on February 07, 2022, 11:41:28 am
I purchased a Champion 2500 dual fuel generator last week. It weighs 39 lbs and is very quite. The propane fuel solves the gas going bad problem and I carry a 20 lb cylinder for my barbecue and have a Zirk off the main tank if needed. I got it to the door for $556. I also have a Lance slide in camper so it will be great for that. Nice back up  peace of mind

Now you will have to think about protecting it from the elements and the midnight shoppers.
I actually altered a blue plastic barrel (lower half) to act as a shelter for my Westinghouse iGEN 2500. I can just set it over the gen and leave it there when the gen is running.
Pics if you desire.

Rocket (last photo) probably thought you were building him a new hidey-hole.  I'm sure he was very disappointed to see it go outside.  :'(
