I ordered a charger/inverter from this place on the 6th. Online Battery Store | Best Price Batteries, Chargers, Solar Chargers,... (https://www.batteryweb.com/)
All I received was a notification that they would email me when it ships. It showed "In Stock".
So I have been emailing and calling all with no reply. It looked like a legit sight so I gave them a try.
We'll see what happens.

Robert,
One way I check out "suspicious" internet vendors is look them up on Google Maps. Go to the address, switch to satellite view, and see if there is anything that looks like a real store. In this case, they do check out. There IS a store...so at least you know it's not some guy running a scam operation out of his garage.
Everything is screwed up right now as far as shipping stuff cross country. I'd keep trying to contact them and get their story (or excuse).
Good Luck!

It's probably like your saying he's just backed up. It just leaves a bad taste in your mouth when someone's running a business you've sent them $1500 and they won't respond to you. We'll see how it goes???
Also thanks for that Google information that's a really good idea. I'll start doing that in the future.
We'll I should have checked first. Yesterday I sent the third email stating if I couldn't get some kind of idea about shipping this "In Stock" item. I would like to cancel my order. That was late yesterday evening. And BAM this morning canceled. So I know now they were reading my emails. Even though their prices are good. I wouldn't but a *amn thing from these folks. YMMV

My experience has been that some businesses are legitimate but simply don't communicate well. I've wondered at times if I had been "taken" but then it turned out that I just needed to be more patient.
Don't know if this applies, but I posted awhile back about the fact that Ebay does not allow anyone to post a negative review.
Doesn't matter how many times you try and even if you can show that the ad used was definitely false.
Agreed but I think 10 days is plenty of time to answer my question. It takes all of 30 seconds to respond to an email. Tell me something. 🤷🏻♂️
I order from Ebay almost every day, but very seldom have a problem. If it does not arrive, Ebay has always refunded my payment plus I always pay by CC so it's just about impossible to get taken. I always leave feedback found on "My Ebay." Check the form.

Res777,
You should try BayMarine Supply.10% discount for fourm members.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me if you are going to have an Internet sales as part of your business you also have to answer emails and phone calls. This was just weird. Anyway. Resume the search.
I just purchased a Sterling battery isolator from them. Great folks and fast shipping. Would definitely purchase from them again.
For future reference,do what rbark says.
I'm Having a similar experience with Harbor Frieght.
Ordered a tool chest from them and they eventually gave me a tracking number that is a Fed Ex dead end at this point. It's been a few months ,and I'm trying to be patient but should prolly go into a store and investigate ??
I would have to say that is unusual dealing with a big box store like that
HF has been great when I call the closest store to us. If they don't have it, they call all their other stores in the vicinity to check on stock. I would call the HQ in Camarillo and see what the story is on your tool chest. Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Their main store has great deals on slightly damaged items.
Costco has been another excellent store for checking for stock in their other stores and holding an item for us until we get there.
