While replacing marker lights above the windshield on our 1995 U300, Bob noticed the passenger find windshield has two cracks in it.
They are not visible from the ground because they are in the area behind the mirrors.
I checked them inside and they don't go all the way through.
I have progressive insurance and filed a claim online.
It immediately takes you to safelights site.
If I remember right I called about a stone chip on our previous coach a 1996 U289 and they wanted us to drive it someplace in Indiana.
I ended up just calling safelite and having them come fix it in the driveway. (Cheaper than driving it to get fixed. Instead of using insurance.
I guess I'm wondering if anyone has had a windshield replaced that has Progressive..
We are in Ohio and Texas is pretty far for us to drive since Bob hasn't retired yet.
I also put a call in to mobile RV glass.
Thanks, Susan
Your coverage should allow any glass shop to replace it. The insurance company has a sweetheart deal with Safelite so tries to steer you in their direction.

I called Mobile Rv and they called progressive while I was on the phone and started the claim.
My only problem is they wanted a number off the windshield and I can't see any numbers.(of course the bottom of the windshield is taller than me)
I called Foretravel and the parts dept said all the place needs is the last 4 numbers of my vin and they can ship the windshield out.
I'll just have to pay my deductible.
Bob make sure you get the same color of the tinted band across the top.
