:Any input would be appreciated.
At minimum you will need to reseal the box. The seal job can be a DIY if you are that kind of tinkerer. If you have slack in the box it will need to be freshened up. There are several threads that have various rebuilders that does good work. Chalks or Red Head are the 2 most used for this job.

Hope these links work as IT department is away.

So prior to leaking how did it steer. If it needs to be tuned up send it to get blueprinted. If it is acceptable seals can be replaced but its a pain. Read reply # 28 twice

Your hydraulic oil tank in in the engine compartment on the left side . Black and about 10 inches in diameter
Thanks, will check it out in the AM.
New to Tech Talk.
I'm assuming that tank supplies lubricant to all the hydraulic systems?
The tank is full of engine oil. It supplies the two hyd fans and steering box.
Checking it is on my predeparture checklist. It has a sight glass that indicates if oil is up to that level and a dip stick within the cap. A turn counterclockwise will release tension and can be wiggled up to view dip stick attached to it inside. I dont pull dip stick every trip but do check sight glass.
