I drained the pink from my system yesterday and filled the water tank about an 1-8 full, just to flush the pink stuff completely. The fill switch located in the drivers side water bay came on, with the green indicator light , as normal. When I went to shut down the fill pump the green light would not go out. I then went into the coach and tried with the fill switch located In the bathroom and was successful in turning it off. Suggestions why This happened? I tried it twice and it did the same thing each time...
Also I noticed when the water pump was on it was cycling on and off when I turned the hot water taps on....this did not happen with the cold water on only. I replaced the water pump ( another post) and took the accumulator out as the newly installed shurflo 4048 does not require one, as stated by the manual and several folks on this forum. Was that because the Aqua hot was not on at the time, or is there another explanation? I have not touched the settings on the 4048 at all, leaving it at the factory setting. Suggestions??
Try calling the Shurflo tech/help number, worth a try.
Go to your latching relay and give it a rap plus pulling and replacing connections. They are inexpensive. Try a auto parts store. Bosch makes them plus Asian varieties are available. The part number is stamped on the little relay. Might try cleaning the connections on the back of the switches.

There are two relays in the panel right beside the water pump breaker. There is no fill breaker as such. The relay you question is then attached to the water pump breaker??
This is what my latching relay looks like. Your relays look like Bosch Relays and I didn't
know they made latching relays. This is what a three way valve looks like. You put it in
just before your pump and the end with the cap on it is where you can suck which ever
kind of fluid you want to put in you system. Any RV store will have them.
Also you only need a latching relay when you have more than one switch operating
the same circuit. I don't need a latching relay for my fill solenoid as the switch in the
bathroom I disconnected and now use for my hot water recurc system.
Thanks for the photos oldguy. I have two switches for the water fill so I will have to investigate as I have not seen a switch like yours...just the Bosch relay
