Has anybody replaced the micro for 210 (air) toilet in their coach? We have a 2000 U320 4210 and wife HATES THE TOILET Need any helpful information we can receive. Thanks
Replaced the original toilet in my 2001 42 U320 with a foot operated, direct drop Sealand toilet. Simple parts and easy maintenance when needed. The spring for the foot pedal can break but the toilet still operates, just lift the foot pedal back up. Easy to replace the spring.
For this toilet to work, it must be over the black tank as it is a direct drop, no off set.
I'm wondering if there's any sort of database of which Foretravel models have a direct-drop toilet and which ones have some sort of offset. I know our 40 ft 1995 U320 has a direct-drop setup.
David, Just like the 2001, I removed the toilet and replaced it with a Sealand in our 95 U320 purchased in 06. Worked great from 06 till we sold it in 2020.
We're still very happy with our Thetford Aria II that I installed a few years ago. Just curious about which Foretravel models/years require the special toilet.
David, wait till the cable breaks. You will loose operation of toilet and will have to remove it to fix.
Sealand stays in operation and phillips screwdriver fixes it.
Get the seal and direct drop manual toilet. It just works. I put one in the coach Rudy now owns.
Yes, I replaced my electric Micro for a Dometic 210, the tall model. In less than a year, the seal in the pedal system, or near it has started to leak. I understand this is a common and easily repaired problem. But disappointed in the quality that doesn't last a year. It also does not have a good wash down pattern when flushing. So would recommend the spray attachment. Just my experience.
We have the offset vacu flush toilet. If and when it must be replaced I plan on a macerator toilet.
