We have a Splendide Aristotle model TVM63X.
I have taken this unit apart more then I care. I have replaced the motor, and the temp thermals sensors. It take forever to dry items. It looks like the unit is heating since I can check the amp load on coach and see that the unit is drawing 13 amps, which the name plate says is the load.
Reading the manual it says it will take aprox. 170 minutes to dry a 13 pound of items which is about right for what it is doing.
My wife has talked to some others and they said they liked theirs. So question is what new Dryer do I buy?
Turdojack, my wife didn't like the long dryer time so i disabled the dryer connections on the combination Splendide and put a 220v
apartment dryer above the washer. Granted we can only use it when we are hooked to shore power but that is the only time she washes anyway. Happy Wife Happy Life! We did loose pantry space but when I put ini a 10 cuft refrigerator I used the extra space for pull out pantry

Turbojack - did it work properly before and now it doesn't? Kind of a silly question, but have you cleaned the lint trap? Not just the screen, but under the screen and all the way through to the vent in the side of the coach? It can get really blocked up, and when we cleaned it, it dramatically helped. In the interim before you get another dryer, it might make it work more efficiently if you give it a good clean out.
We have the same dryer (Ariston TVM63X) and it has worked flawlessly for us for 7 years. ***knock on wood*** I hope your dryer woes end happily. :)
Has never worked good since we bought the coach 3 years ago. I think I have checked everything, but now you have me questioning myself
Look at Whrilpool, they have small washers and dryers as well as combo washer/dryers.
I have the combo, and now have taken the top and back off 3 times since 2015, to remove and clean the inside rubber flex tube from the drum to the back wall of the unit. It's sadly and amazing how much link gets trapped inside the rubber flex tube!
I have a Bosch washer and 220v dryer in my coach. Happy with both.
Is the dryer 220V 20amps or 30 amps?
