Title: Level System Alarm
Post by: GleamB on August 05, 2022, 04:05:35 pm
This happened to me before...
Again, today.
I needed to move my coach. Started to up, waited for the air pressure to build up, waited for the green "Travel" light to come on....
But the dash" Level System" lit up and the alarm started "dinging".
I walked around the coach, all air bags seemed fine.
So.........any ideas?
Where do I look for cause of the alarm to sound?
Thanks

You might try to extend/retract the slide to check the close signal.

One possibility: On the road - level system alarm intermittent, travel light intermittent (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=43369.msg436357#msg436357)

Description: switch, pressure manifold.
HWH part RAP15387.
On the switch: NASON SM-2B-85R/WL290 .

The slide is not retracted properly. The front of the slide is out about an inch and the back is in. I don't usually have any problems like this. I will extend/retract it again and see if that fixes it.
I may get back and ask how to adjust the slide.

Would you happen to have a picture of the HWH bypass?  I believe in another post its a knob that says 110 and 220?  Please correct me if Im wrong.  Thanks E

Run it completely in and out a couple of times... HWH suggest you dont stop mid way and if so extend retract again... I have issue sometime with the pin locks.. they dont engage... I do the procedure from start to finish again and it usually fixes it.. If not the bypass does its job for the moment until I can find the issue.. Usually by the time I finish my drive it will have fixed itself and will be working on the next operation.

Just dropped mine off at MOT to fix this same problem. Will post what they did when I get it back.

I suspect your hydraulic sync cylinder needs to be inspected.  That is what makes the arms extend/retract together. On mine it's mounted on the drivers side wall of the first storage bay.
