When I turn the key to the "on" position prior to starting my coach, I hear a fairly loud clicking sound at the front of the coach. It is what I would expect a fuel pump to sound like but that is in the engine compartment.
The sound will go away during the time it takes the dash lights to go out indicating it is ok to turn the key to the ignition position to start the engine.
Can someone tell me what it is that I am hearing? The engine has no trouble starting. Is it a solenoid?
Thanks.

I don't know exactly what it is, but it has something to do with the computers and you shouldn't start the coach until the clicking sound stops which is normally a couple of seconds or so.

Possibly your ABS going through its system check
Normal 'puter stuff. Mine does it too. Press on. Woody.
If you listen closely you sound hear a series of 3 separate clicks on your age coach. 1 that comes from the front and 2 from the rear.

" fairly loud clicking sound"
Vaccum pump in the front stairwell stuck and trying to run?
Thanks Mike. Thanks to all for your help.
I will research that. Is the pump shown on the coach air diagram provided in the Foretravel Owners manual? I left my manual in my coach 30 minutes away.
