Title: Looking hard at this 2000 U270

2000 Foretravel U270 40 | Motorhomes of Texas (https://www.motorhomesoftexas.com/Pre-owned-Inventory-2000-Foretravel-Motorhome-U270-40-U270-12546289?ref=list)

Has - 8 new air bags, new 8D AGM batteries , new steering box, new full body paint, head light and tail light up grade. Roof has been done with linex, new fridge, new vinyl floor.

We had the inspection done yesterday a hand full of minor things came back ... - carbon detector  , propane grommet, safety latches .... Ect

Biggest one that needs to be addressed is rear bulkhead - if we continue with the purchase- Thomas Welding would do the work in Nacogs

I will request MOT - to do fuel lines. Air dryer, belts, fluids Engine, trans, coolant and genny- all filters as well and so other comfort items.

We are waiting for fluid samples to be returned tomorrow... to assist in decision.


Please advise of your thoughts- I am learning  a wealth of knowledge from all of you - thanks.

Exact same floor plan as ours. First one I have ever seen with this floor plan besides ours. We love it. Ours is not painted like this one but I wish it was. Great looking coach!!

Who did you use for the inspection?  Was it someone locally in Nac?
