Wondering if anyone in WA state has a rig with the knoedle drivers seat and villa passenger like the ones in the picture. Need to have the wife sit in them before dropping big bucks on the upgrade
I can't say that I've sat on a Knoedler seat in a coach but I did find a dealer with these seats on the showroom floor and I can say that the seat is very well made and is a huge improvement over the Villa drivers seat that is in my coach now. I'm seriously considering ordering a new seat because mine is terribly uncomfortable and has a broken spring. The options on a new Knoedler seat are myriad and price runs the gamut. I too would be interested in hearing from someone who has spent some time in one.
Not in WA. I love the seat that is in my2014 IH45. I can drive all day. I do not mess with any of the adjustments. I love it just the way it is. It has where you can raise it up with an air bag. Most times I leave the seat with no air. A number of people complain when they air the seat up and you take a big bump the seat will go up and then bottom out. When you do not air it up you do not have the sudden stop over a big bump. While driving I do not really notice the difference between air in it or not. You do notice it when you get in the seat with you weight it will sink down. I have used the cool and heat only a few times. Most times I forget that I can turn this on.
The passenger seat my wife hates. Since she has gotten a cushion that she sits on when riding shotgun I have not heard a complaint out of her.
Not a fan of the air adjustable seats.
Sat in them during my time in the fire department bobbing up and down as we went down the city streets. I would fill it up completely to stop all the vertical movement.
Vertical movement was a problem with the one I had also as the seat belt is constantly tightening up on you. I left the air out. Otherwise it was a comfortable seat. Foretravels ride so smooth anyway, I wondered if they were needed.
Guess I am not a connoisseur of the VERY EXPENSIVE seats touted here.
I have found our 1989 GV Flexsteel seats quite comfortable since we put long-haired sheepskin covers on them.
Although, I must admit that the most comfortable seats I have experienced were in our granddaughter's husband's Nissan pickup.
Couldn't believe how nice they felt even after a long ride. And this truck wasn't anywhere close to being new!!
They were not needed is correct.
