Title: desiccant for Auxiliary Air compressor

I noticed the Auxiliary Air compressor on my 2015 IH 45 does not have Desiccant in the moisture bowl like my 2003 U320 had.  Question is should it have Desiccant?  Bought it used.

They stopped using desiccant.
