I added another 600 amp hours of batteries, probably more than I need but now I can leave
the fridge on in the winter nights. I put in a 5 lb. propane tank for the stove and I will pick up
anther one for the barbeque and if I ever run out I will have a back up one.
Those bays are squared away and look darn nice inside Peter.
Turned out nice. I'm looking to add more battery capacity likewise. I had been wondering about the propane being in the same area as the batteries, any danger there? Also I always see a vent at the lowest spot, since propane can accumulate on the bottom and be potentially dangerous? Any other thoughts on this, should I worry about these things, or you wouldn't think it would be a problem?
I thought about the same thing and as there is no blow off vent with the bottles and I'm careful
about hooking up I don't see a problem. I will also keep the valve closed unless we're cooking.
