So proactively im planning on replacing the Studor vents.
2001 3610 coach
How many vents and locations? 4? Shower would be 5?
I think there may be one in the bathroom closet for the cloth washer hook up. We have no plans to ever have a washer, can this one be plugged or should it still be replaced?
Is there a particular brand that will provide good service life?
I thought they were 1 1/2 inch, but not 100% sure
Thanks Scott
Scott, you better check them all --I think the one I replaced was 1 or 1 1/4 but am not sure
Chris
Absolutely will change them all, just wanted to order the correct number and size
2003 U320 40" 5 total AAVs on our coach. 2 behind washer, pics at link.
Sewer Odor, roof sewer vent, air admitance valves inside... (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=34106.msg312768#msg312768)
Hadnt heard anything and while walking threw Lowes getting other stuff saw that they had them on (21$ each) clearance so picked up five of them thinking I would return what I don't use. Hoping that the 1 1/2" is the correct size since that is all they sold. Thanks for the input. Will report back our locations
So I was only able to locate four air admittance valves
1 behind stove top for kitchen sink
2 closet next to were washing machine would be under box.
3 under bathroom sink area
4 behind toilet area for shower drain.
Easy to remove with channel locks and installed hand tight to facilitate future replacement.
Put date on each valve with marker for reference.
If anyone knows were the fifth one is let me know please. I installed the larger head 1 1/2" Studor valve and was not a issue to install, although tight.
