Title: electric door lock malfunction
Post by: craneman on November 04, 2022, 01:03:04 pm
We are at Phoenix Raceway and I have removed the fuse for the door locks as they started continuous cycling when we parked in a Walmart parking lot. I cut the wire to the entry door lock and thought it was a local issue. Got to the track and the door under the driver's seat started doing the same thing. We did drive though some rain but nothing like returning from Custer State Park last year. Has anyone run into the same issue?

I had a somewhat similar issue where the coach kept going into "alarm" mode and it actually turned out to be the key fob. Took the battery out and it went away

Your lock brain box is probably located behind the panel in front of the passenger seat on the right side.  You could try cutting power there as a stop gap measure.

I pulled the 10 amp fuse powering the brain for now. Will wait until we get home for more trouble shooting.

We have the lock button by the door that has gotten stuck part way before and caused continuous energizing of the lock solenoids. You might check that if you have one.

I don't have a lock button by the door but have one along the drivers seat. Will make sure it isn't causing the issue.
