My 3 cheap 8D flood batteries just died after 3 years can't start the engine. Would this battery be much better?
Sorry, link fixed.
That's exactly the same as I just bought yesterday. :)
Lifelines are for deep cycle use, usually not for engine start with high current draw.

If inexpensive 8Ds don't last 8 years, something is wrong with the way the coach/batteries are stored in the off season or when not in use. Our 34s lasted from 2008 to about 4 years ago and our AGM house batteries are still going strong at 14 years. We keep the voltage at 13.15-13.20 24/7 for both banks. Every 20 hours, the converter/charger does a 15 minute desulfation cycle. We also have twin LED digital voltmeters on the dash so as soon as I step in the coach, I can see exactly to the one hundredth of a volt, what both banks are at. That's how I caught the stuck Allison relay that was causing the transmission computer to stay on all the time.
