Last week, prior to this cold snap, I went over to the coach and got everything started and cycled to turn on the heat. Everything worked perfectly. Sunday morning, I went over and the bedroom register was not blowing even though the thermostat was calling for heat. All others were blowing and doing fine. I called Rudy and got his very helpful assessment and I also called Brian Degerald. Brian said he was coming that way the end of the week and would come by and look at it. Lo and behold, Tuesday morning I went over to check it and I heard the bedroom register blowing. Went out and checked the pump for that zone and it was working fine as were the other pumps. Called Brian and told him it fixed itself and assured him I touched nothing. He said he can't diagnose it unless it's broke and to call him if it did it again.........sometimes things are above and beyond my control. Wish things would fix themselves more often.
I would delete this post... you are just tempting the AH gods.
I had a belly laugh over this comment!
Just for clarification, was the register not blowing (fan not running) or was it blowing ambient (not heated) air?
Fan not blowing and pump not running.
Both at the same time sounds like more of a control circuit issue. Can you tell on your thermostat that it was calling for heat in that zone at the time?
Yes
