I can't seem to find what I'm looking for when using the search function.
Went to drain fresh water tank on my 03 U320 and even with 25 or so gallons nothing comes out when I open the fresh water drain valve.
Can someone tell me what is on top of the tee to the left with the blue and red wires ? I'm thinking it's a solenoid/valve preventing water flow. See pic attached.
And the other valve to the right of that one ?

The part with the two wires is your tank level gauge. There should be a sticker on the floor for each drain valve, if not it looks like the red handled valve in the bottom of your picture is your tank drain. Could be plugged up. Follow the pipes that come out of the tank near the bottom and see where they go.
The drain is after that tee. I will take it apart and see if it's clogged. Any ideas on the valve to right of the tee ?
If you are talking about the black valve with the "T" handle that is your fill valve. If you are talking about the red handle valve (that is in the open position) you need to see where the line leads to.

Thanks Mike was referring to the black to what I now know is the fill valve. So the fill hose goes to pex on the road side then under the manibloc the up into the fill valve.
It all makes perfect sense to me now !

In verry loose terms (as most of these coaches are 1 offs) that is how the water line is routed.

To further detail the fill valve - it's solenoid-operated. That black T-handle is the manual shut off in case the solenoid valve seat or the fresh water check valve on the shore hose plumbing line develops a leak-through.
I wonder if those valves are OEM or replacement? The ones in our '03 didn't have red handles

Hi Michelle, there has been some tampering in that bay. So if I want to run on city water that valve has to be closed. I assume that if you have not turned on the fill switch on road side that valve remains closed. Does that valve have a tendency to stick open or closed ?
In our direct experience, the solenoid valve is more likely to leak through than be stuck closed. Debris/contamination on the valve seat.
We also had experience with the fresh water inlet check valve failing (pain in the butt in a 2003 - you have to disassemble the utility bay to get to it. Let me know if you need links to my posts on the forum about it (circa 2011-2012).
I have a leaking backflow preventer and saw where the put it. Decided to put a shut off valve on the hose end for now. When I get the priority items at the top of the list done I will rip that bay open and reconfigure so I can more easily replace that thing.
I believe the tank and cold/hot drain valves should be on the passenger side wet bay...near the pump.
