Many of you know I had my radiator recored at FT in late '21. I had planned on needed a new one but the repair was just fine by me.
I was going through the prior owners box of receipts again and 2012 he put in a radiator and CAC. Then again in 2016 he put a new radiator in....not to mention a new Aquahot in 2011. These were some massive repair bills.
Curious why a coach would need 2 radiators in 4 years and then a recore 5 years later?
Everything else is/was as expected - new bags, new shocks, new bladder, new fuel lines, regular maintenance, etc.
"We" own a U225 with a rear mounted radiator but reading about U320 "issues" is my idea of mechanical porn.
There are posts about which you speak, namely a structural inadequacy in the original radiator mounting scheme. Simply bolting in a new radiator doesn't cure the underlying problem. Others with direct experience should be along shortly.
Good Morning! Art Joly
Scott made a radiator support which I copied and I also hung the tans cooler from the frame.
There is too much weight hanging on the radiator. I did all this when I was changing the fan seals.
If you type in search ( radiator support ) you can find Scott talking about the radiator and
how it should be supported. Way down the post there are two pictures of his support but
I couldn't find his pictures of the install or any of my pictures of my install or the trans
install.
Is this of which you're thinking?
