Been noticing quite a bit of noise on the roof during strong winds. Decided to go out last night and have a look.
I saw that our dish was moving in the wind. The bit that is has a good bit of play is the fork that does the vertical motion. There are two large hex heads on the pivot point and two smaller hex heads at the bottom of each fork. Nothing looks loose. Sorry about the rotation. Couldn't fix that.
(UPDATE) Talked to a sat installer from Phoenix who is at Q. Said those brass bushings are not repairable (why does that not surprise me) So need a new turret at some point. For now even with the wobble, the picture remains great. So the wobble isn't enough to degrade the signal much. But it will get worse over time. sure makes a lot of noise when the wind blows. I thought one of my AC/Vent covers was loose.
