Title: Basement lights
Post by: Charlieboise on March 04, 2023, 07:58:00 pm
Looked at my wiring diagram twice today and can't find out why I lost all the lights overnight.  Pulled all the 12v fuses under the bed and all look fine.

Batteries 12.9v, shore power connected, inverter off.

Can't see any other issues other than the lights.

Is there a hidden fuse panel I'm not aware of ?

If I can figure out where this circuit originates I could work from there.

The breaker you are looking for is in the basement behind the fiberglass cover.  Those are manual reset breakers. Once you find the panel as it should be mounted on a wall in the basement look around for those little breakers. If tripped it will have a little button that is popped out just push it back in to reset the breaker. If it pops right back out now you need to find the shorted door switch. On older coaches like ours it is on the right hand side of breakers 2nd one from the bottom.

Mike,

I can see the storage lights breaker on the schematic below (found in our Forum Library).  https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?action=media;sa=media;in=3297
I just don't know where, on a 2003 U320, that row of circuit breakers is physically located.
It doesn't look like the typical double stack breaker arrangement (the ones under the white fiberglass cover) that we find on older coaches.

In an 03 they should be in the basement electronics bay with the HWH stuff, inverter/converter, and the like. IIRC 1st bay behind the left front tire.

Yep as always a great forum !! Who would have thought those little breakers in the hwh bay had a reset button. Even more mind blowing is that it was labeled stor lights.

Breaker tripped and all is good.

Now on to the 65 other projects
