Title: IFS Safety Blocking
Post by: James Bock on March 22, 2023, 11:15:20 am
I have a 2001 36' U320 that I want to do some servicing on. I've got my 2in square tubing and know where to block on the rear of the coach. I was hoping that someone with an IFS front could tell/show where and what to use for keeping the coach up in the raised position so I can safely get underneath. TIA.... James

James,

I found a single repeat of your question that was asked two years ago, and sadly never received an answer.  I HOPE we can do better this time...

Something to check while you are working on your front end:

I went and bought some 2x12 lumber. Cut in 2' sections.  I then raise front with air bags. then slide /stack the 2x12's under the front cross members.  On my coach I have two front cross members.  I use one set of blocks across both cross members at each side close to the A Arm.  I was concerned about the weight and tried to distribute it over a greater area.
