Does anyone know the actual size of the green/white overflow hose on the foretravel. I though it was 1 1/2 inch but ordered some and it evidently is larger than that
I have not switched mine out but I took a picture of the tube going to the wheel well. "Stytle 10 - 1 3/8" tubing", "PE Non-pressure cold water" is written on it. 1 3/8" ID I would assume that this is the correct stuff, but someone else may be able to chip in. When I relocated mine down and through the bulkhead I had enough excess hose that I didn't need to add any. I actually ended up trimming it before affixing it to the PVC bulkhead fitting that goes through the "floor"
You pulled the tube from the manifold area into the fresh tank area and cut a hole down by the water pump, right? I still haven't done this but make it a point to watch for it to fill. Maybe i'll get to that this summer...
Yep, exactly. I spent more time researching the issue here on the forum than I did actually making the modification. Super easy. I used a 300lb magnet to find the bulkhead structure before cutting the through-hole.
Thanks Elliott
I could not read the numbers on my hose but you are correct. I now have ordered the hose you mentioned on Amazon
Elliott
What did you use for a 300lb magnet?
