Title: Proper install of gas springs

Which is the proper way to install these gas springs.  With the black cylinder down or up.  See photo.
Or does it make any difference.

We have tambour doors in our cabinets, so no gas springs.  The gas springs in all our under-coach storage bays are mounted with the cylinder at the top, FWIW.

You need to mount with cylinder in the up position so the oil in the cylinder will lubricate the seals . If seals don't get lubricated they will dry out and unit wont last as long
