Our U225 came to us with a converter upgrade, a Progressive Dynamics PD9160 sans Charge Wizard and I added the Charge Wizard. Then a few years later a water line at the water heater popped loose for one reason or another, and flooded the basement and the power converter/charger.
I ordered in (2) PD9260 which came with the remote manual override pendents and set to work. I used welding cable for the additional run to the chassis battery and now enjoy not only automatic charging on the chassis battery but a backup in case of engine driven alternator failure.
No inverter?
