Title: Switches with no Label
Post by: Bill B on May 07, 2023, 12:14:41 pm
Can anyone help me identify these switches?  One on the front of the dash and two under the dash.  Are the under dash switches in the correct position for whatever they do?  Thanks for your help!

First switch is likely this

Unknown Dash Switch (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=22275.msg169014#msg169014)

Other two switches are

Switches behind drivers dash (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=42612.msg427163#msg427163)
Mystery Switches inside dash (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=41600.msg414864#msg414864)

One of the switches under the cover is for setting the idle speed and I forgot what the other one is for
and the one on the dash I don't have one there so I can't help with that.

Would this idle speed switch exist in my 95 u295? Really wish I could idle up when warming/airing up. The coach vibrates like crazy at idle, give it just a little throttle and it smooths right out.

On a 8.3 mechanical the idle speed is adjusted with an idle screw on the throttle linkage. You should be
able to speed  your engine up and down with the cruise control for building up air.

You should be able to speed your engine up and down with the cruise control for building up air.
If the coach has a "air throttle" and Bendix cruise control then the cruise control "Fast Idle" will not work until air system pressure exceeds roughly 60 psi or so.

Thanks Chuck, I was wondering about air throttles.

On the 95 it should have the king cruise control and by turning it on and then hitting either set or resume the idle speed should change.
