Title: Coolant vacuum tool function
Post by: dlkj07 on May 07, 2023, 11:04:44 pm
When using the coolant vacuum tool to fill the coolant system can I go from jug to jug while the vacuum is pulling in fluid? Or do I need to dump all the coolant into a container so I don't risk pulling air?
I was hoping I could just go jug to jug by closing the valve before sucking air and then transferring to the new jug and then opening the valve. Though I'm thinking that when I transfer the suction hose to the new jug some fluid might drain out thus causing some air to be withdrawn in. Would that be an issue?

Yes shut feed valve off and go to next jug. Don't worry about any air getting in. You'll get it out during the next couple of pull down and replenish. Once full it will go to full vacuum almost instantly then won't pull any more coolant in before vacuum disappears. Great tool. Don't worry about first couple of fills just keep till your done. It will draw all the air out almost magically

Sweet, thanks Scott.
