Title: HWH 510 one jack won’t stay down
Post by: Paul GA on June 09, 2023, 08:59:18 pm
1992 ORED with HWH 510 kick down levelers. Left rear jack retracts and stores when you release the lift button for it. Replaced the solenoid for that jack, nothing changed. Anyone have any ideas?

This may sound a bit daft but have you drained the air tanks ?

Could be leaking past the valve on the jack or at pump tank location.

Would I see an external leak?

No it would bleed back to the reservoir.

I don't have air bags or air brakes.

Called Paul, he stated the only thing that would cause a jack to come back up would be the solenoid. I replaced the solenoid before I called him no change. He suggested new one was bad, so I swapped with another one on the manifold, no change.

Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks

So, I've discovered the controller is keeping power applied to that solenoid after the pump stops, allowing pressure to leak back. Not sure if I can even get a replacement control. May just build a manual switch control board.
