Hello, I have searched every way I can think for this information.
We have bought the headlights to replace the original ones in our 02.
Has anyone done a video or pictorial of how to go about this? There have been cuss words said today.
Regards
Tom and Julie
If you don't mind waiting a couple of weeks I plan on replacing mine when I next get down south.
If you can figure out which ford truck the lights were copied from try searching for that video, most of the coaches use lights from
another vehicle.
I believe the 02-05ish models use GM pick up truck headlights. I was lucky as a previous owner replaced mine with what I think are HID headlamps. They take a minute to warm up and they make a buzzing sound but they are very white and bright. I've looked up behind the front cap and it looks like a nightmare to reach the mounting studs.
Gene, we are on the second one now. We removed the aluminum frames that hold the headlights. Put the top headlight in and then hopefully will be able to get the bottom ones in.
Good luck, it's not easy if your knees are bad and your skin is thin. A lot of groaning and bleeding going on here
1999 to 2002 chevy/GMC headlights are what you need. That's what my 03 u320 uses
I did that on a 2005 and it is a real hard job. Definitely going to lose some blood.
Well, they are installed! We are glad it's almost done. Now to figure out how to align them correctly. Maybe we can find the information here. YouTube isn't looking good.
There should be 2 or sometimes 3 screws near the center of the top and side panels that adjust the angle of the reflector.
They often have a small spring behind them, so they should be easy to see.
Adjusting takes low light conditions and only a few minutes, normally need the final trim piece removed to be able to adjust.
