Title: Auto leveling system
Post by: JChafton on June 20, 2023, 07:58:09 pm
Recently purchased 1999 U320.......Back story: rear 6 pack was replaced and front 6 pack was rebuilt by previous owner just prior to my purchase. Problem: one of the solenoid coil areas is leaking air. Bubble test. I have a spare 6 pack and rebuild kit that came with coach. Question: #1 ..can I replace the o-rings under the coil tower without any danger of air pressure loss if system is turned off. #2..Is coach leveling air system independent of chassis air system, always cautious when working under a coach.
Any expert advice appreciated.

You must have the safety stands in place to hold the coach up as when you remove the solenoid valve it lets out all the air in the bag.

Look in your Foretravel book, there should be a schematic showing the air system. Leveling  and travel height use the same bags and air lines. If you do a search on travel and auto level you will find lots of reading as to how everything works.
