Wondering if anyone has made any modifications to the kitchen fan? We get so much outside noise coming from it. No way it can be airtight. It is great when cooking but thinking we get a lot of heat and noise enter there. Thinking of ways we can seal it up when not in use.
They come with a plastic slide in cover that does pretty well.
Here's couple of pictures of it. I used bubble rap for insulation in the winter and it is
off all summer as with a window open it will really help cool the coach if it isn't too
hot where I need the air conditioner.
Wow! So I am missing the cover. Any suggestions where to get one?
Make one. Use velcro to fasten it.
There are some options..

I was lucky that when I bought this coach I still had the Monaco so I kept the fan cover
from the Monaco.

1/4" lauan, panted or papered to taste.
Get a machine screw "J-hook" from Lowes.
Hook over one of the louvers (after you trim to fit) and run the nut up to hold it in place.
Here's a photo of mine. It's 15.5" x 15.5" and you can get the material and the velco at Walmart for probably less than $15.
vinyl materia; - Walmart.com (https://www.walmart.com/search?q=vinyl+materia%3B&sort=price_low)
velcro - Walmart.com (https://www.walmart.com/search?q=velcro)
Go with the 3D-printed cover, looks OEM, works great, slides in and out using small lip on fan grill. I like mine, cost was $150.
Pat,
Username: John and Stacey - used to 3D print these covers. I have one. High quality, much better than the original. Should be able to find the thread with an advanced search for vent cover and their username.
Here is one thread that will give you some contact info.

I replaced mine with a standard bath fan.
I pulled mine out and dropped in a maxxair vent fan. Quieter, lets a little light in, etc. Pretty easy swap.
