Title: javelina monitor not syncing
Post by: RvingJeff on July 09, 2023, 09:37:59 am
I searched as best as I can to find someone who has experienced this. Replacing an old javelina lcd monitor not the crt. I have seen a lot of people replace it with a normal cheap tft monitor as long as it can reverse the image. I purchased one and it works fine with the camera but the bottom half is jumping when I display the audit system. Looks like a syncing issue.
Is there any kind of adjustment for this or did I just get a monitor that does not work? Hoping someone experienced this so I can get it right.

During the business week, call RV Cams in Baton Rouge at 225/261-7815.  They have a good $ and best $$ solution which worked when I replaced mine on the 95 U320.  I also used them to replace the rear camera.  They had the adapters to plug the coaches wire harness into the new equipment.  Worked great.

I had the same thing happen with mine. The image for the javelina was just jumping lines....What I discovered was the new monitor would not display the proper format (NTSC or PAL) The new monitor format was for1080I OR 720p resolution. Because I did not want to replace the Javelina tank monitor system quite yet (it works fine) I simply bought another cheap monitor that displayed NTSC and PAL. Sure, I now have two monitors (One for cameras and one for Javelina) but it was the most cost effective fix for now.

Thanks Rudy, I did order one from them. Way more expensive but will be worth it if it is plug and play.
