2004 U270 with living room slide. I can't get the control to go into auto level or manual level. The HWH troubleshooting says to check that I have power and ground on the 12 pin connector going to the control box. I'm not sure which of these three boxes is the control to the air leveling. I don't want to be mistakenly checking on the wrong plug. Anyone know which box so I can try and troubleshoot?
I'll can't check responses for a few hours, but plan on working on this later this evening. Any help would be greatly appreciated:
Thank you all in advance.
The HWH is second picture.
Thanks. It was the one on the right in the second picture. Was able to confirm that my touchpad needs replaced, per HWH troubleshooting in the manual. Thought I could just call HWH and get RGA# send in get repaired said it would be at least 2 to 3 weeks to get RGA #. Unless I was a dealer. Not happy about that. Trying to see if I can get one from Foretravel.
Wow! That is a bummer Tom, as last time I was at HWH, they installed a new touch pad for us and zero charge! Not sure why they could not just send one to you and then you ship the other back. Not impressed with HWH anymore!
Foretravel had one 321. 87 with discount. Should be here in a couple days. Couldn't wait on HWH as we have a trip planned. I hope it solves my problem.
Yep HWH sucks when it comes to remote support of any kind for owners. To the point that it'll eventually make these old coaches unviable. I'm still waiting on a callback from their parts department from the day I bought my GV.
Also on a side note. I had trouble trying to diagnose problem because in my folder of manuals etc. either PO or Foretravel had manual for wrong series of leveling system. Was much easier to understand once I was looking at the right information. As always you can't assume anything without checking.
Elliot you are right. After I hung up with them I had a five minute cussing fit. Glad no one witnessed that. I would probably been sent for a mental health check.
That's consistent with my experiences too. Even in person. After they installed a new sixpack on my U320 I had to crawl under there at my first stop and swap solenoids around myself to get it to behave correctly.
I left a message with HWH well over 6 months ago and never got a call back! Not good for business!
Call Northwest RV Supply | Eugene, Oregon (https://www.nwrvsupply.com). They have hwh stuff and on a solenoid I need they are almost a Ben Franklin cheaper on each one
Keith
Thanks Keith sometimes hard to find sources for certain parts.
I bought a new touch pad and it fixed my problem. Was wondering how much HWH would charge to fix my old one to have as a spare. If some one sent one in recently that could tell me what the cost was I would appreciate it. HWH is hard to find out anything, in a timely manner.
