Recommendations on good AC coil cleaners that are paint safe. So if I don't have to worry about using on the ACs on the roof.

I researched this recently and there is an inexpensive ($1.25 a bottle) cleaner called "Awesome" that comes in a spray bottle. Family Dollar stores have it. Not sure what others, but it works great. I sprayed it on, scrubbed it with a toothbrush, and let it sit overnight, then sprayed with water the next day and all the gunk washed right off.

The aviation Simple Green is recommended for aluminum and will not cause harm.
