We are currently plugged into a 30amp power outlet at the current campsite we are at in British Columbia. I use a 50 amp power watchdog surge protector into a 30 amp adapter. It is showing ok at 110 Volts. I do have a built in surge protector in the coach. I have soft starts on both AC units and am running only 1 AC as well the normal stuff in the coach.
So the power into the coach is good but the power watch meter is fluctuating between 100 and 110 volts. Occasionally the AC shuts off then after a couple of minutes fires back up
Ir seem something I. The coach is reducing the constant voltage into the coach
Anyone have ideas why??
Quite likely, the CG voltage is dropping due to overall demand.
Check voltage at the CG pedestal when it shows lower in the coach (i.e. under the same amp load).
So the voltage at the pedestal through my Bluetooth showing the power watch dog shows it flucati g between 114 volts all the way down to woo volts. I currently have only a tv and a couple lights and my HWH on literally maybe 10 amps draw. I even turned off the ac and the Aqua hot. Still issues. Can I suspect unstable power at this site?
Most likely poor CG power.
